Rossana Roy
Rossana has trained in a diverse range of dance styles from ballet, Jazz, swing and most common styles of Latin dance such as Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Zouk/Lambada, Samba de Gafieira and Samba. A qualified Group Fitness Instructor, Rossana has taught “Latin Fitness” and “Body Jam” classes for Fernwood fitness centre and has taught various Latin classes over the past 4 years. Her passion is the energetic & sexy Brazilian Samba which she performs on a regular basis through out Sydney with well known groups such as the Brasileras and Samba Frog. As a dance teacher, Rossana enjoys sharing & helping others discover themselves through the art of dance and this shines through in her energetic and fun classes nd is Co-Director of Batucada Brasil!
Deray Soley
Deray's dance passion commenced at the very young age of 5 where she was trained in contemporary styles such as Ballet, Tap and Jazz. After 9 years of training, Deray took a break from contemporary dance to enter the vibrant dancing world of Samba; her passion for the drums, energy and the bright costumes has made this dance style her obsession.
Trained by some of the best dancers, she has taken this exciting dance form on, added her own personal touches and as a result now dances as though she was born and raised in Brazil. Due to her dance background, energy and bubbly personality, Deray continues to embark on the road to Samba; she not only performs with the Batucada Brasil, but also teaches a number of classes and is Co-Director of Batucada Brasil!
Nancy Carasco
Nancy originally hails from Chile and has been dancing all her life!! Her initial dance training was informal and she then began traditional folk dancing which is very common in the Latino culture. Nancy is trained in Flamenco, Rhythmic gymnastics, Jazz, Salsa, Afro Cuban and Brazilian Samba. She has been performing professionally with Samba for many years and is a very popular dancer who is held in high regard throughout the Sydney Latin scene.
Gabby Maston
Gabriella is a qualified personal trainer and aerobics instructor. She was a cheerleader for the Marconi stallions in 2000.Gabriella has always loved the Latin sounds of music being brought up listening to traditional folk music of Ecuador. She has followed many types of Latin dance including Salsa and Spanish flamenco. She has performed in many Brazilian shows for Samba Frog and BRASILERAS including 2006 new years party at Luna Park, the Sydney Mardi Gras 2006, Harmony Day Celebrations in Sydney's Northern Beaches, etc. What drives Gabriella to dance "is the sound of the Brazilian drums… they move the soul."
Fernando Ebony
Fernando Ebony was born in Lima Peru, of Afro-Peruvian heritage. He grew up dancing many different styles such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Samba, Reggaeton, Bachata, & Afro-Peruvian...
In 1991 he and his sister Liliana were chosen as "Pareja Latin Hit" in the popular Channel 9 TV competition in Peru. Fernando performed Afro-Peruvian with the dance group "Ebano y Marfiel", Folklorice with the Folklore dance group of the "University San Martin de Porres" he acted danced and sang with the group "Creacion".
Since his arrival in Australia one of his achievement is he is now the Director of his own business Creative Latin Dance and has been teaching and performing around Australia (Salsoteca at BJs Nightclub, The Cuban Dance Company, South American Festival, Bacardi Latino Festival, Festival Fiesta, Bondi Beach Latin Festival, Fox Studios, Lane Cove Festival, and also performed with the Brasileras, Latin American Film Festival,
He did modelling for The Design Centre Enmore on behalf of Ultimo T.A.F.E. He has appeared in commercials both in Australia and the USA. He has also been an extra in several movies (Mission Impossible, Lantana, The Pill Box and The Matrix Revolutions and Super Man Return).
Fernando also writes and records songs and his CD and video clip Sydney Sexy City is on sale at selected stores.
Daniela Garcia Morales
Daniela was born in Santiago, Chile. Coming from a musical family, latin music and dance were always in her blood. Growing up she danced salsa, cumbia and hip-hop until she discovered her love for the fun and sexy brazillian samba.
Daniela has been trained by some of Australias' best and internationally recognised samba teachers. She has performed in front of huge audiences along side baterias such as Sambalouco and Samba Frog. Daniela currently persues her passion for the electricity of live samba beats in performances throughout Sydney.
Lilly Guerrero
Born in Canada raised by Chilean parents. Lilly I was captured by music and dance since she was a little girl. After her first performance on stage it felt only natural for her to continue performing. Dancing brings a big smile to her face and she enjoys watching others learn and gets excited for them.
Throughout the years lilly has performed for many Latin Folklore Groups dancing mainly Chilean, Mexican folkore and Salsa, which inspired her to create her own production “Trayectoria”.
Lilly also has a passion for Salsa and Latin folklore Music performing in several bands and currently singing for the Salsa Kingz and Galaxia.
